Saturday was the 4th Annual St. Jacobs Amazing Race. As always, it was great fun! 45 families competed in the Family Edition, along with 15 adult teams later that morning. The teams raced through St. Jacobs completing various challenges to collect the stamps and advance to the finish line victorious. At the White Heron Karate Station, students were tasked with learning some basic karate and demonstrating their skill in kata and pad drills. All-in-all it made for a great day!
Congratulations to all of the competitors. It is great living in an engaged, active community. Thank-you to all of the organizers, who once again, did a fantastic job in co-ordinating this event. A special thank-you to the White Heron students who came out to assist in our karate station!
